Phillips, Aiden Lassell Ripley, Francis Ouimet, and numerous others. Laid in are two letters from the MFGA to Charles F. Eaton, Jr.–one noting his acceptance into the Association, and the other describes the MFGA membership rules and provides a general overview of club ongoings at the time (1935). Eaton’s membership card, signed by the MFGA secretary David Aylward, also attached. From the collection of Dix White, whose father Webb was treasurer of MFGA at the time the letters were issued. Dix was the former president of Ducks Unlimited – Boston, president of the Orvis Shop – Boston, and a sporting writer. He was also a later MFGA member. Green soft covers with silver insignia and black lettering. Staples at spine, one of which is slightly bulging. Some edge wear. Pen notes from Dix White on first page. Otherwise clean and bright.
