The Art of Milton C. Weiler: A Sportsman’s World – John Ordeman & Milton C. (Bud) Weiler Jr. – 2011. A quite rare deluxe edition signed by Ordeman and Weiler, and this a presentation copy from the Weiler family. Milton C. Weiler Sr. was one of the premier sporting artists of his time, known for his work with the Derrydale Press and many other sporting publishers. He was also an avid outdoorsman, with deep roots to the Anglers’ Club of New York and the DeBruce Fly Fishing Club in the Catskills. Weiler Jr. helped compile this work to honor his father’s legacy, following in his footsteps as an outdoorsman. Accompanying is a presentation copy of the First Massachusetts Duck Stamp and Print from the Weiler family, including large folio cover, original stamp, signed letter from Weiler Jr., and hand-numbered print (no. 450 of 600). Book in full leather in matching slip case, with illustration on cover depicting one of Weiler’s works. Still in the original box and sleeve, a presentation copy from Weiler Jr. All in fine like-new condition. An extremely rare set in pristine condition. The items are exactly as pictured.
