History of the Hollenbeck Club 1900-1978 – J. Lawrence ‘Larry’ Pool – 1978. A limited edition of just 120 copies, privately printed. Signed by Pool on title page. Laid in are photocopies of articles about Pool and the club. The club was located in Falls Village, CT, and included some acreage for upland hunting and a trout stream for angling. Members included the Rockefellers and the Fricks. The club had 30 members as of the writing of this book and was rumored to only ever have approximately 75 members in total, held as an exclusive retreat. Forty-three numbered pages. Soft covers, greenish, with small illustration and lettering on front. Black and white illustrations. Some discoloration of cover near spine, with a few other minor marks to cover. Internally fine.
