Good Fishing! – Lou Eppinger – c. mid-1930s. Fully titled, ‘Good Fishing starts at Eppinger’s, with Eppinger’s School of Fly and Bait Casting’. The Eppinger Co. was founed in Detroit, MI, and specialized in freshwater tackle, particularly for warmwater species such as bass, pike, and musky. Although their No Tangle reels gained some popularity, their infamous Dardevle spoon remains a stalwart of many anglers today. This catalog features rods, reels, fly rods, lines, lures, hooks, tackle, and more. With various articles about their fishing school. Mainly B&W, but approx. 3 pages in color, showing various spoons and spinners. Laid in is a letter from D.L. McPherson of LA addressed to Eppinger about purchasing a reel. Also laid in is an original order form. Letter dated 1938, and oldest date on the back of the catalog is 1934, so although undated, published somewhere in that time frame. Fine condition. The book is exactly as pictured. Any questions, please ask.
