Further Notes on the Pursuit of Salar – Alfred Bissell and Charles Lee Reese – 1972. A first edition, privately printed and limited to just 100 copies. Signed by one of the authors, Charles Lee Reese, below lengthy inscription. Additionally, Reese’s card is clipped in. B&W photos throughout. Contour map endpapers of the Vosso River in western Norway. The book includes tales of fishing at Camp Harmony in New Brunswick, salmon fishing in Norway, an fishing trip to Novokuznetsk in western Siberia and duck hunting at Woodmont Rod and Gun Club in Berkeley Springs. Red paper-covered boards with black cloth wrap at spine and gilt lettering. Original rice paper jacket present. Slight shelf wear and edge fading. Internally, signs of browning near hinge at EPs. Paper clip holding Reese’s card has left a mark on the adjacent pages. Otherwise, clean and bright. VG+ to near fine condition. The book is exactly as pictured. Any questions, please ask.
