A unique copy owned by Charles Phair, angling specialist and the American and Canadian representative for Farlow of London. Phair called Perth, New Brunswick, Canada, home. He is best known for his book ‘Atlantic Salmon Fishing’, first published by Eugene Connett at the Derrydale Press in 1937. Bearing the stamp of Phair on the front cover. Illustrated soft covers, in tan with black lettering and illustrations. B&W illustrations throughout, with a number of glossy color plates of flies toward the middle. Begins with a series of articles about various types of angling, highlighting tips, techniques, equipment, locations, and more for species such as trout and salmon, among others. Then, a comprehensive catalog of various offerings from Farlow, including conventional and fly reels and rods, flies, lures, hooks, fly tying tools, misc. gear, and more. Some minor shelf wear.
