Tuscarora Club’s Forty-Year History 1901-1941. A privately printed, limited first edition of just 100 copies. Mainly reminiscences of the infamous Tuscarora Club, near Margaretville in the Catskills of New York, featuring articles by Dr. Homer E. Fraser, Henry A. Ingraham, Ellis Parker Butler, and others. The club was a haven for hunting, fishing, and other outdoors sports. From the collection of Frederic Colie, a long-time member, officer, and president of the club. With 15 B&W photographic plates, a frontispiece portrait, and woodcut title vignettes printed in green. Paper-covered boards with cloth wrap at spine, gilt club insignia, and gilt lettering. General shelf wear, most notable rubbing and bumping at corners and rubbing of cloth at spine ends and in places along spine. This white cloth also lightly soiled. Internally, light acid browning to EPs and an occasional spot of foxing. VG condition. The book is exactly as pictured. Any questions, please ask.
