However, this copy is signed by Bates, a signature I’ve found to be rare for this title. Laid in is the original publisher’s advertising pamphlet for the book. The pamphlet bears the personal stamp of Joseph Bates, including his address. With B&W and color photographic illustrations, including fly plates.
