The Angling Library Formed by the Late Dean Sage – Original Catalog for Public Sale – 1942. Parke-Bernet Galleries, Inc., New York. Quite rare in its original form. Sage, a renowned author of ‘The Ristigouche and Its Salmon Fishing’, among many other angling titles. Laid in is the rare bookplate of William H. Sage, Dean’s brother. Catalogue lists many fishing classics and various Waltoniana. Some pencil markings throughout. One sale slip with writing in pencil, and a receipt at rear listing purchases. Soft cover with edge wear and some discoloratoin. Internally, generally quite clean and bright, pencil marks aside. Overall, very good condition. The book is exactly as pictured.
