Set of 2 Roderick Haig-Brown Fisherman’s Season Titles: Fisherman’s Spring (1951; Morrow 1st Ed.) and Fisherman’s Summer (1959; Morrow 1st Ed.). These titles from the personal library of sporting artist Milton Weiler, known for his work with the Derrydale Press and many other sporting publishers, as well as with RHB. Notably, Weiler worked with Haig-Brown and was a friend and fishing companion. Both books are signed by Milton C. Weiler. Fisherman’s Summer includes a letter (laid in) from Haig-Brown to Weiler thanking him for sending an original drawing that was used in one of his books, among other brief conversation (as well as a copy of this letter). The letter is initialed and possibly also signed at corner. Both books with dust jackets. DJs both good, with some edge wear and misc. flaws. Summer book with some browning of front EP adjacent to letters, thus near fine. Spring book in fine condition. The books are exactly as pictured. Any questions, please ask.
