Fishermen’s Favorite Flies – Bill Edson – c. 1940. Fly fishing specialties from Sportsmen’s Sports in Dennysville, Maine, owned and operated by Bill Edson. Edson was also a tackle maker, fly tyer, and general jack of all trades when it came to fishing. The shop specialized in flies for salmon and trout trips, with many original patterns pioneered by Edson. The booklet contains information on rods and flies for sale, the author and shop, woodcock, waterfowl, partridge, bass, rabbits, visiting the area, and more.
