Inscribed and signed by Lamb to Elsie and Harry Darbee on FFEP, with the Darbee bookplate on the adjacent EP. The Darbees are synonymous with fly fishing in the Catskills of New York, with accolades too many to list, but including ties to the Dettes, the Catskill Fly Fishing Museum, and the American Museum of Fly Fishing. The book, with intro by Guido Perera, details the sporting art of famed artist Aiden Lassell Ripley, a New England native and avid outdoorsman. Loaded with illustrations in B&W. Quarter brown cloth and paper boards, with goose illustration. Gilt lettering at spine. Matching slip case with paper label. Crease to one of the prelim pages, and mark on another.
