Framed Royal Wulff Hand-Tied by Lee Wulff. As described in his handwritten note, Wulff tied the fly, one of his original patterns, entirely by hand, with no vise–one of his renowned skills. The fly was gifted to Paul Fuller, a writer, editor, and all-around outdoorsman. He is a long-time member of the New England Outdoor Writers Association and has a particular passion for upland hunting, shooting, and pointing dogs. Notably, he is the head of Bird Dogs Afield and was long a stalwort of the Northwoods Sporting Journal. The set also features three limited prints of drawings of Wulff tying the fly, by Dick Leyden, who originally produced these drawings for the summer 1983 of Trout Magazine.
