This from the private library of the Weiler family. Milton C. Weiler Sr. was one of the premier sporting artists of his time, known for his work with the Derrydale Press and many other sporting publishers. He was also an avid outdoorsman, with deep roots to the Anglers’ Club of New York and the DeBruce Fly Fishing Club in the Catskills. Notably, his illustrations were used in multiple MacDougall books. Letter from the publisher to Weiler laid in, discussing illustrations, publishing timelines, etc. Another gem from the classic Dud Dean stories from the woods and waters of Maine.
