Swanson is largely considered an expert on salmon, as well as on fish models and related angling art, including sculpture and painting. This copy from the private library of the Weiler family. Milton C. Weiler Sr. was one of the premier sporting artists of his time, known for his work with the Derrydale Press and many other sporting publishers. He was also an avid outdoorsman, with deep roots to the Anglers’ Club of New York and the DeBruce Fly Fishing Club in the Catskills. Green cloth boards with gilt lettering at spine.
