Tuscarora: A Continuing Story – Fred Colie – 1984. A first edition, released in unknown but limited number, remaining quite scarce. A memoir of the Delaware County, New York, club of the Catskills by a long-time member, officer, and president. Colie, whose father became a member in 1941, notes, “When the first Club history, 1901-1941, was conceived and published, no excuses were made for literary merit or even grammar. The same holds true for this work, which is a labor of love published to coincide with the club’s 80th anniversary.” Remembrances of Tuscarora and the valley from the mid-1930’s through 1981. This was the former copy of the author, with his signature to title page. Laid in is a note from The Women Flyfishers  Club to Colie, who was then president of the Tuscarora Club, about the WFFC visiting Tuscarora and fishing on the Neversink. Signed by Weezie Lambert, who also included the WFFC’s 1995 club newsletter. Map EPs. Loaded with tables and B&W photographic images. Green leather with gilt insignia and lettering. Some bumping to corners, especially upper corners. Internally, a small spot on front EPs, else clean and crisp. Near fine condition. The book is exactly as pictured. Any questions, please ask.
