The club was founded in 1898 and reportedly served Bobby Jones while he was attending Harvard. The golf course was designed by Donald Ross in 1901. The club’s original clubhouse was lost due to a fire in the 1960s. A comprehensive handbook, with chapters on the club origins and history, site, club house, officers, golf course, golfers, professionals, trophies, and more. Maps and illustrations in B&W, including photographic frontispiece. Green cloth boards with gilt lettering and insignia. Light rubbing at upper spine end and lower right corner.
